Individual therapy is offered for children, adolescents, and adults. We typically work with children ages 6 and up. Our primary approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy, though we may integrate other orientations in the course of therapy, when appropriate.
Family therapy is offered to help families navigate through difficult challenges, problem-solve and improve conflict-resolution skills between family members.
Parent consultations are offered to assist with the development of a child. Parent consultation may occur as the primary service, or in support of the individual treatment of a child or teen.
We often present to school staff, parents, or mental health professionals. Typically, the presentations are on the cognitive-behavioral approach to treating childhood anxiety disorders, and the presentations offer strategies and techniques that can be used directly with children.
